We’re proud to announce our newest addition to the Root Cellar family. Located on the corner of Hopkins and LBJ, we are honored to occupy a historical building right on the square in downtown San Marcos! Stop by for a delicious cup of our fair trade organic coffee or handcraft your own cup of tea from our loose leaf tea bar. Fresh baked breakfast pastries and desserts are available, as well as a selection of Gluten Free options. Don’t forget we have fresh baked breads available Friday and Saturday!

Most custom or specialty orders are available with 48 hours notice.
True to traditional bakery hours, we close early, at 2pm, so that our space can be rented out for any occasion.
Birthday parties, anniversary dinners, baby showers, graduation celebrations, and bridal luncheons
are just a few of the events that are welcome to be hosted with us.
